Trainer Revenge 2026 Raises $23,375 for Aspire Child Development Centre

TRAINER REVENGE 2026 RAISES $23,375 FOR ASPIRE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

Five days ago we put a menu on our front desk and asked Red Deer to do its worst.

You raised $23,375.

Every dollar goes to Aspire Child Development Centre, supporting families in our city who are raising children with diverse needs.

HOW THE WEEK WENT

The idea is simple. Every exercise on the revenge menu had a donation attached. You picked the exercise, you picked the trainer, you made your donation, and our team did every single rep while you watched.

It started strong on Monday with $4,700. By Thursday it had passed $12,500. By Friday morning we were at $20,200, and the BBQ had not even started yet.

Some of the requests were creative. Some were genuinely hair raising :). Our trainers took all of them, and a few are still moving carefully.

What surprised us most was who walked through the door. Plenty of people came in this week who have never trained here, just to support and cheer.

On Friday evening we closed the week with a free family BBQ at the studio. Families, kids, trainers, and clients, all in one room. It was fun, the food was great, the beer was cold, and it was the right way to finish.

WHY ASPIRE

Aspire Child Development Centre has supported Red Deer families since 1985. Many people in this city still know it by its former name, the Children’s Services Centre.

Think about the moment a parent first notices their child is developing differently. Speech is late, movement is harder than it should be, or behaviour is difficult to understand. There is usually a long, anxious stretch of not knowing what is happening or who to call.

Aspire meets families in exactly that moment. Their team brings psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and behaviour specialists together around one child and one family. They run developmental assessments and diagnostic clinics, ongoing therapy, and EASE, an inclusive preschool program. They also work hard to reach families in rural and remote communities across central Alberta who have the hardest time accessing this kind of support.

The children Aspire helps live in our neighborhoods’ and go to our schools. That is what made this week matter.

THANK YOU

This result belongs to a lot of people.

Our team. Five days of taking punishment designed by people who know exactly where you are weakest. They did it without complaint, and most of them asked for more.

Our clients. You bought the reps, picked the exercises, brought your families, and talked about it everywhere. This event exists because of you.

Our community. Everyone who donated, shared a post, dropped in, or came to the BBQ. Including the people who had never set foot in our studio before this week.

WHY A TRAINING STUDIO DOES THIS

What we do most days is help adults in Red Deer get stronger, move better, and feel like themselves again. That work matters to us, and it is why we come in.

But a studio is also a community. When the people who train here, their families, and their friends all point at the same thing for a week, it adds up to something none of us could do alone. Trainer Revenge is how we point that outward.

It is also the most fun week of our year. Our clients love it. Our trainers claim to.

Thank you, Red Deer. We will see you next year.
